The Texas Rural Education Association executive board has endorsed the TSP&C program for its member districts. The executive board met with and reviewed the details of the program with the Cooperative management team and sent the program to their legal counsel, Blake Powell of Powell & Leon L.L.P. for evaluation. After a thorough review, Mr. Powell issued a written opinion of the program to the executive board indicating the strength and security of the Cooperative for long-term cost effective risk management for member districts. The executive board met again with the Cooperative management team along with legal counsel Blake Powell and made final recommendations for the Cooperative and formally endorsed the program. A copy of the announcement of the TREA endorsement and a copy of the recommendation from Mr. Powell are available from TSP&C.
